Bangkok Day 3/4 - 23rd/24th June 2010
Woke up early in day 3 and went down for breakfast ourselves because that two piggy decided to sleep in.. so after the breakfast.. we went around and Qiann done her medi and pedicure.. I had the honour of helping her choose the colours but while its getting done.. im there catching up on my sleep.. LOL..
So afterwards its catching up on shopping for her and we went back to Platinum Mall and shopped shopped shopped and before leaving.. settled for a Strawberry Snow Ice which is something you must try!
While we were eating our Snow Ice.. Wen and Aaron decided to sip over a cup of coffee and their design is worth phototaking.. and i want to really thanks Aaron for his bargaining with ALL the Tuktuk drivers.. He also helped us to get the best price and make it seems like he is the bad guy.. But im sure he is enjoying it right? And Platinum Mall i have to say again.. is MEGA-MEGA-HUGE..
So after shopping they decided to go back and rest while Qiann and I went to their Chinatown to get the PorkFloss which are my favourites and aint for sale in Singapore anymore.. Took the Tuktuk there and had to visit a Scam Shop beforehand because im too lousy at bargaining for good price.. =/
On the way back to the hotel.. we saw the 4 face Budda which is said to be a Must See at Bangkok and you often see locals cupping their hands together and do a quick pray whenever they walked pass it..
Went back to the hotel to rest a while before we head down to the same restaurant to have a similar but different dinner.. I guess we were too lazy to choose another restaurant so we just go back to where we are familiar with..
Once we finished dinner.. we took a tuktuk down to the Night Bazaar which i will say its similar to Bugis Street.. but most of the shops were closed and all the products they sell there are almost the same throughout.. we barely bought anything and its more like a walking exercise than a shopping trip..
However we decided to try the Fish Spa for the first time for both of us so that it will not be a wasted trip.. and it is very fun and results can be seen after just 15min.. your legs really feel alot more smooth and nice after they "chewed" on your dead skins.. Took Qiann about 10min before she settled down so before that it was non stop blush and laughters.. Wenn and Aaron joined us afterwards and exactly the same thing happen too.. Its not that bad.. is it?
So afterwards.. we went back home and took out everything we bought and display it for photoshoot.. the amount of plastic bags that we had used were also something worth noticing and those plastic bags there are only half the amount.. =/ and finally.. a couple shot with all our loots..
The next day.. which is also the last day.. we had a late wake up call and decided to try a real road side stall before leaving.. or else we feel that we have not been to Bangkok at all.. and it tasted not only not bad.. but great! so great we came back for another bowl before taking the cab to the airport.. Love the pepperly taste of all the Bangkok food..
And no doubt.. even the last day we must make use of it and go shopping.. so back to the Platinum Mall and finished off with some more Snow Ice.. If you noticed.. we spent some time of EVERYDAY at the Platinum Mall.. so its really somewhere YOU MUST GO! Otherwise you have not been to Bangkok.. =P
And like all other trips.. Such a journey came to an end where we head down to the Airport and board the Jetstar and bid farewell to Bangkok.. Had loads of fun there and hope all four of us will have more oversea trips together.. and perhaps 2 or 4 more friends next time round too..? Where is next? Road Trip at Australia anyone?
