It start early in the morning at 7am at Boonlay centre where we registered and board our Five Stars Bus.. and amazingly.. we were giving this huge bus and it was a really comfortable pleasant trip.. Five Stars indeed is different from the others.. So Wen Aaron Qian and I board the bus and off we head.. to our first stop.. GENTING!
Side notes: This is the first couple couple outing and couple couple oversea trip for all four of us.. =)
The bus we were rode.. I still have an impression of the squeezy bus i used to take 7 years ago.. it was barely breathable and pretty uncomfortable.. No more! This bus even have space for us to stretch our feet to the max!
Whats a couple outing without a couple shot eh? =)
Qian obviously enjoying herself with the huge space she have to herself..
And im enjoying myself with the games they have as if im riding the SIA.. =P
Upon reaching there.. the beautiful sky greeted us.. though i was quite disappointed that we did not ride the Gondolas up the hill as it will give the impression that its really high.. now there is this snake like road that goes all the way up that kinda defeat the purpose.. =/
When we arrived.. we were greeted by the rainbow shelters which made things really lively and it just give a happy feeling to anyone that step into it..
Rainbow bring the smile out of everyone! =)
Reached there and found out that is a freaking long queue and we have to wait for about 150 peoples to check in before us.. so to maximize the time there instead of sitting on chairs and dozing off....
We went to have coffeebreak at Starbucks.. and stupidly all the shops there have the GST excluded in the menu.. so basically i felt ripped off when i look at the reciept.. Zz..
We even bought cakes and breads and that curl curl thing to fill our stomach after that long journey..
There was a ONE METER TEH shop which immediately caught our attention.. I guess this TEH joke will be with us till the end..
So we went to our room.. drop our things and prepare to have fun!
Swing around and around........
Fly around and around...
And get eaten by Dinosaurs.. good thing about going as couple couple trip is that we can help one another to take pictures.. instead of having all near shots or having to find some strangers to help us..
The best shot of the Four of Us being so Happy together.. played other stuffs but photos were unable to be taken due to the nature of the games being too wild and exciting and any moment the camera will just fly away and Final Destination 4 may happen.. =.=" and noticed the two earmuffs? Its a couple couple thing!
And when we went back to the room i was made to wear it.. LOL
It still look better on Qian instead.. i shall go muff-less..
Then we went down for dinner and i had quite a great time exploring the whole area.. 7 years of not visiting Genting and it became really really nice and modern.. i have no impression that Genting was this beautiful totally.. my impression of Genting 7 years ago is still dark and ulu and rather run-down.. Really amazing upgrades!
Had KennyRoger for dinner and we shared the Half Chicken.. not bad but pretty ripped off for the side dishes.. Genting is basically ripping you off everything..
Loves and Roses~
Next day we had another couple shot before heading to our bus which will bring us to our next destination.. KL!
So we went down this snake like road again.. and we reached KL after a few hours and in the area of Chinatown.. Went to shopped a while with all our barangs barangs and i was dying from the weights of my bags so i was unable to capture any pictures of it..
Then we went to another shopping mall to do more shopping and walking around as well as the important aircon blowing.. And wow.. this shopping mall is really huge.. we only managed to walked 3 level of it before we left to another shopping mall..
There was also an amusement park inside which have the largest indoor roller coaster and it look really awesome and W-O-W!
Cosmo and Qian! Thanks Qiann for posing in most of my photos.. =)
If you can roughly see from this poor taken photo.. this is inside the shopping mall and that is the almost 4 storey indoor roller coaster that i have no idea where it start and end.. and it just go up and down and round and upside down and woooohooooo~
To build this is amazing.. to ride this is beyond amazing...
LUNCH TIME!!
The way the sauces and salt and pepper were placed before us is uniquely designed and quite an art..
Pizzas arrived and they are delicious and crispy.. the meat chunks they give are huge and not like those back in Singapore where its kinda hard to see with the naked eyes..
Continue to shop around and chance upon this art at the lift lobby.. I have always admire those people that are so good with such art.. though some people say this is vandalism.. i say this brighten up the place alot.. Its not so great facing a white wall while waiting for the lift right?
After all the shopping.. we cabbed to Wen grandmother house where we rested for the night and a new day awaits us..
The next day we took a train to KLCC where we can see the KL Twin Tower..
Smaller but generally the same as what we have in Singapore..
Priority seats~
I like this photo alot =)
Some landscapes...
More of the arts i like.. Great artists!
And soon we reached the KL Tower..
Had lunch there at their food court and one interesting thing we found out was that every stall sells drinks themselves.. so it made things more convenient for all the customers as they do not have to approach another stall just to get their beverages..
After lunch we wanted to take pictures of the beautiful fountains but before i manage to press the button.. the fountain show ended and it did not start again.. at least for the next 30min.. Darn!
Then we wanted to visit the bridge that is in the middle height of the two twin tower but the tickets were sold out.. to our surprise.. on a normal weekday.. the tickets start selling at 8am.. and there are 1000 to grab.. but by 1030.. all the tickets are sold out.. and the security guard told me that the sales that day was slow already as they normally sold out even earlier..
So we have to bid farewell to that tower and went back to our shopping journey.. Btw.. you can see the bridge that we wanted to go to in this picture..
There are many tourists around this area too.. just like us..
Aww.. someone left the lonely trolley in the middle of nowhere!
Their cabs are so nicely decorated..
And we saw the Singapore-No-More A&W! Miss their food and drinks.. still remember there was one long long time ago at the Changi Airport..
Think about it.. i think its really funny that we all took pictures with this bear statue in the shop.. =/
A&W Root Beer Float! But i still prefer Wendy's Frosty Float.. seriously its nice.. all of you should go try it.. =P
Resting in the aircon shop with a ice cold drink after a draining long walk in the heat..
And afterwards we shopped and shopped and bought alot and shopped and bought and shop and bought.. .. . .. ..... . ..
Then we went back to Wen places where we rest for the night and pack our bags to prepare ourselves as we are leaving the next day..
Came with this bag.. leave with this bag.. This bag is really durable and expandable considering i can squeeze everything i brought and bought into it..
The bag is probably fatter than me..
So after a good night rest..................................
We had breakfast at a nearby food centre.. and have to leave quickly as it started to pour and we have to walk in the rain or else we could be late..
Took the train again and Qiann looked like she is the one that brought all the bags over there.. i was busy standing at another side of the train as i wanted to capture a picture i missed the previous day..
And this is the one i wanted to take.. a school.. but it look nice i dunno why..
So we took the FIVE STAR bus again and this was even better.. The chair in this bus is MASSAGE CHAIR! (though it was kinda uncomfortable)
It looked so luxury~
Look at the space in between the two seats..
Both of them having fun with the chairs..
Enjoying the comfort of this before its over.. =P
And that conclude our Genting and KL trip.. =) This is more of a shopping trip where our places of attrations are all the shopping malls around.. instead of those adventure or exploration trip where we visit those museum and towers and gardens and such.. This is kinda my first shopping oversea trip so i was unprepared for it and brought alittle too much stuffs.. but well.. i will be prepared for my next shopping trip =)
